SUBSTANCE: gas catcher contains casing 1 accommodating stator 2 made in the form of linear asynchronous motor and rotor 3 made of electrically conducting material 3 in the form of body of revolution and installed on air cushion inside the stator and congruently to it; inlets 7 and 8 for polluted gas and washing liquid, respectively; outlets 9 and 10 for treated and dust-rich gas, respectively; and also a system for lifting rotor 3 including metal members 4 possessing shape memory, which are rigidly secured to wall of casing 1 and provided with appliance for changing their temperature, for instance electric heater 4.
