SEPARATOR Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

FIELD: power equipment used for separation of drop type moisture from steam in condensate steam turbines. SUBSTANCE: separator has body, inside which there is bawl-type rotor, suspended over first support base over stator and positioned with clearance in respect to it. Inlet of damp steam is coaxial to outlet of steam purified from moisture. Apparatus for trapping of separated moisture is made in the form of not full in cross-section of hollow tore turned with its salient part upward. Outlet of separated water from tore is connected by canals with inclined ring-type collector. Inlet of steam for creation of steam cushion is located along axis of separator and is connected with ring-type nozzle located in cavity of bawl-type form made in central part of stator. Cavity also has embracing ring-type nozzle additional blade rotor rigidly linked with main rotor and mounted coaxially to it. EFFECT: improved design. 5 cl, 1 dwg
