FIELD: waste water treatment. SUBSTANCE: treatment of protein-containing waste waters originated from food industry includes mechanical treatment and electrochemical coagulation on iron electrodes conducted in alkaline medium in presence of bischofite. Water subjected to electrochemical coagulation is separated from precipitate and neutralized. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of process.
