FIELD: colloidal materials. SUBSTANCE: method includes preliminarily wetting materials with liquid electrolyte and compacting them in closed space, whereupon electric current with voltage 50-250 V is applied by way of passing positive voltage from anode to object being heated through conducting liquid which wets capillary-porous material layer separating anode from its direct contact with object of heating. As conducting liquid, 0.5-5.0% metal salt aqueous solutions are used, and current treatment is carried out with continuously displacing compacted mass through variable-section pipeline, current supply being effected over the perimeter of pipeline inner surface in the zone of greatest mass compaction, which, prior to be current treated, is evacuated. EFFECT: accelerated uniform heating with tens times reduced power consumption.
