FIELD: corrosion protection. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cathode protection of objects against corrosion and electrochemical treatment of soils, sludges, and other disperse systems in order to remove impurities and to change salt content, moisture, strength, and other properties. Apparatus of invention contains current terminals and in-series connected electrodes, each being made in the form of concentrically arranged cable, thin-wall titanium casing with outside catalytic coating, contact sockets, and also hermetic connection of casing ends with cable. Tightness of connection is provided by squeezing, and electrical contact of casing with socket is provided by contact welding. Free internal cavities of casing are filled with insulator compound. On the surface of casing- socket contact, layer of copper or other metal may be locally laid using friction application technique. Above catalyst layer, the one with electron or hole conduction may be applied. Casing of grounding conductor can be also executed of steel to be used as cathode.
