FIELD: chemical industry. SUBSTANCE: lubricant is prepared by saponifying fatty acids with 50% aqueous sodium carbonate and borax at 30:1 ratio respectively in the presence of 3-15 wt% sodium nitrite on heating. Filler is added to the saponified product at saponification temperature. The product is then dried, cooled and ground, the filler contains 65% sodium sulfate, 32% magnesium hydroxocarbonate and 3% boron nitride. EFFECT: more efficient preparation process. 1 tbl
