FIELD: mechanical engineering; continuous action earth-moving machines used for layer-by-layer removal of soil in levelling jobs, making of pits and banks. SUBSTANCE: earth-moving machine has base tractor with frame and power takeoff housing rigidly secured on frame, bogie and its frame driving sprockets, additional frame for mounting working member consisting of side pillars and guides turnable relative to direction of tractor longitudinal axis. Guides have mechanism to provide displacement of changeable working members. This mechanism has sliders and hydraulic or mechanical drive. Working member consists of cutting mechanism and transportation mechanism with soil throwing equipment. Cutting mechanism is driven by final drives made of two turnable sections. These sections can be made either in form of driven cutting chains or different type reduction gears with corresponding installation of cutters or as combination of reduction gears and driven cutting chains.
