FIELD: construction engineering. SUBSTANCE: method can be used for increasing load-bearing capacity, improving operating and architectural characteristics of existing walling structures. Ensuring cooperative working under load of existing log-made wall and additional wall which is added to thickness of existing wall, and increasing load-bearing capacity and rigidity of existing walling structure can be achieved by introducing logs of additional wall into recesses of main log-made wall. For purpose of binding, through-holes are drilled or driven in main wall not only over horizontal butts of logs but in logs themselves. Binding is effected not only over milled vertical grooves but also over milled horizontal grooves. Cooperating working under load of existing wall and additional wall is realized by means of continuous through-type binding by reinforcing members with subsequent covering of binding with cementation material.
