FIELD: control of boundary layer of flow. SUBSTANCE: method consists in introducing disturbances in structure of vortices, thus acting on process of conversion of energy in flow of fluid medium. Vortices are generated due to formation of boundary layer with large-scale vortices mainly located in its external portion; these vortices transfer energy to intermediate-scale vortices arising in internal portion of boundary layer; these vortices are broken into small-scale vortices which dissipate energy into heat in viscous sublayer. Disturbances are introduced into internal portion of boundary layer in form of stochastic disturbances with wave length spectrum mainly in range of intermediate-scale vortices.
