FIELD: mechanical engineering; important threaded joints. SUBSTANCE: device is provided with bush mounted between housing and tail-piece of rod coaxially with it; bush rests against nut; it is located at radial clearance relative to tail-piece; it has bottom section engageable with housing over spherical surface. Rod is provided with through transversal port through which pin secured in housing is passed at spaced relation. Measuring device is made in form of rod resting against pin of housing. Construction provides for free motion of projecting portion of threaded rod relative to nut in tightening the joint. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of check of axial force in tightening threaded joint due to use of standard device for measuring linear displacement. 1 dwg
