FIELD: mechanical engineering; coupling of shafts in case of misalignment. SUBSTANCE: clutch members 1 and 2 are of cup-shaped form with wavy inner surface. Rubber tape 3 and flexible steel band 4 are placed inside clutch members. Steel band 4 copies profile of inner surfaces of clutch members. Ends of clutch members are provided with alternating projections and recesses which are coaxial relative to projections and recesses on inner surface of clutch members. Surface of projections at ends of clutch members directed to axis of clutch is spherical in shape. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 3 dwg
