FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has body 2 accommodating drive bushing 5 which connects the spindle of the machine tool in which the device is mounted with drive shaft 11 and lap 9. Drive shaft 11 is provided with piston 13 designed to operate as a brake. The piston is installed in cylinder 2 and secured on the output shaft. Installed on body 1 is spring-loaded rocker 8 engageable with lap 9 by means of block 8. Cylinder 2 has two valves: compression valve 14 and release valve 15 with pressure regulators.
