FIELD: mechanical processing.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to finishing operations on superfinishing and polishing of external cylindrical surfaces of parts. Device comprises polishing segments, small and large support channels made with possibility of installation on lathe bed and fixation by means of spacer, stand assembly with stand hinges, secured to said support channels by means of screws for fastening hinges of the post and tightened by a spring. Polishing segments are made in the form of a block of magnetic polishing segments, hingedly installed in the upper part of the posts by means of fastening screws of the post hinge. Polishing segments are interconnected with provision of tight fit to processed surface of part with its full girth.
EFFECT: higher efficiency and possibility of mounting the device on parts of different diameter.
