Caspian sea water is used as an additional source of macro- and trace elements that are necessary for the growth of lactic acid streptococcus Streptococcus faecium STF-1/56. Other components provide the requirement of the strain for macroelements, nitrogen and carbon nutrition. Medium is used for preparing probiotic used for prophylaxis of poultry infection with salmonellae. EFFECT: enhanced prophylaxis, decreased cost.
