FIELD: hydraulic engineering. SUBSTANCE: this can be used for collecting petroleum products from surface of water basins and technical reservoirs. Device has rotating drum 1 with longitudinal blades inclined towards axis of rotation ending in through-holes made in end wall. Drum is enclosed in outer shell 17 and hermetically installed on axle 3. Collection of petroleum products is effected by means of rotating drum with simultaneous mechanical collection and selective capillary sorbtion of petroleum products by drum coating which is made as hydrophobic high-porous and with open cells.
