FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: this can be used in processing of useful minerals collected in sludge settlers and in extracting them from mine water, and also in underground extraction of coal by hydraulic or mechanohydraulic procedure. According to water clarification method, effected are hydraulic transportation of sludge product, separation of hydraulic mixture into large- and small-size product, formation of filtration course of sludge containing large-size product, delivery of small-size product for contact with large-size product, branching out sludge, clarification of water, and dewatering of sludge. Separation of mine inflow hydraulic mixture or mixture taken from settlers is performed in cyclone or mixture divider. Filtration course is formed in thickening-clarifying apparatus, and sludge water is subjected to reagentless treatment in polarizer with recharging solid particles contained in it. Then sludge water is directed under filtration course in thickening-clarifying apparatus for passing through it. EFFECT: high efficiency. 4 cl, 1 dwg
