FIELD: pneumatic nonconsuming guns for harpoon projection. SUBSTANCE: at loading the harpoon is inserted in the rod axial duct with simultaneous packing of the tail piece. At shooting the working piston with the rod and harpoon moves forward pushing the circular water column, which is dispersed through the drain holes into the environment. At an approach to the damper bush of the rod a narrow slotted duct remains between them, the pressure in the cavity of the liquid damper rises, and water starts flowing over the radial duct to the axial duct, acting on the tail piece end an increasing the harpoon kinetic energy. The piston starts braking, the harpoon comes out of the rod and muzzle cap. As soon as the radial completely enters the damper bush hole, the pressure in the cavity of the liquid damper rises again, as a result, the piston approaches the damper bush without any collision.
