FIELD: radars. SUBSTANCE: method involves receiving signal simultaneously in three channels of bearing finder, measuring two phase differences of received signals, delaying two signals in range from zero to λ/C using additional first and second delay lines, measuring two signal phase differences for each digital value of signal delay, delaying signals using third delay line, additional delaying of signals using first and second delay lines in range from zero to λ/C, measuring two signal phase differences for each digital value of signal delay by means of direction finder. Direction finder error is judged by difference of errors of digital delays of signals for zero and additional signal delay using third delay line. λ is wavelength , C is signal spreading velocity.
