DIGITAL DEVICE FOR SELECTION OF MOVING TARGETS Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

Abstract RU 2087006 C1

FIELD: radars, in particular, signal detection on non-Gauss background noise. SUBSTANCE: device has two channels, first of which is in same phase, another one is quadrature. Inputs of channels are joined and serve as device input. Cosine and sine control inputs are joined and are connected respectively to serial circuit of coherent heterodyne and phase splitting circuit, which outputs are connected to reference inputs of corresponding channel. In addition device has first and second adders, correlation feedback circuit, which has multiplier, integrating filter, first constant factor multiplier and digital harmonious oscillator, which cosine and sine outputs are connected to corresponding control inputs of channels. Each channel has serial circuit of phase detector, which main and reference inputs serve as channel inputs, analog-to-digital converter, first multiplier, which second input is connected to cosine control input of channel, and adder, which output serves as channel output. In addition each channel has second multiplier, which one input is connected to output of analog-to-digital converter of another channel and which second input is connected to sine control input of channel. Output of second multiplier is connected to second input of adder. In addition serial circuit of two digital noise suppression filters and second constant factor multiplier is inserted between output of first adder and input of second adder. Digital noise suppression filters are tuned to zero Doppler shift. First input of first adder is connected to output of first channel, its second input is connected to output of second adder and first input of multiplier of correlation feedback circuit, which second input is connected to output of second channel. Output of first digital noise suppression filter is device output. In addition device has digital noise oscillator, which output is connected to second input of second adder. Output of multiplier in correlation feedback circuit is connected to input of integrating filter, which output is connected to first constant factor multiplier. Control input of digital harmonious oscillator is connected to output of first constant factor multiplier. EFFECT: increased protection of radar against non-Gauss background noise of unknown Doppler shift. 2 dwg
