FIELD: physics. SUBSTANCE: material track-sensitive to alpha-particles but not registering beta and gamma radiation is exposed to alpha-particles of analyzed mixture of nuclides, for instance of mixture of U-235 and Pu-239. Then film is developed by method of chemical etching in several stages which number depends on number of components of mixture emitting alpha-particles of different energies. Density of tracks on film is counted after each development. Each component is characterized by number of tracks appeared after due stage of development of film. Content of nuclides in analyzed mixture is evaluated by comparison of obtained densities of tracks with graduated curves measured in advance for corresponding radionuclides, for example, uranium 235 and plutonium 239 or by taking into account efficiency of registration of alpha-particles by film known beforehand. EFFECT: increased authenticity of method.
