FIELD: conveyer equipment for mining industry at drive operation in extreme conditions. SUBSTANCE: the drive uses an electric motor, reduction gear, multidisk friction clutch with an electromagnetic control installed on the input shaft of the reduction gear, drive sprocket unit with a hollow shaft installed on its input shaft carrying drive gear-wheels engaged with the gear-wheel of the reduction gear output shaft by means of gear cardan shafts and gear-wheel of the input shaft of the drive sprocket unit. The hollow shaft is furnished with a device for torque measurement, using two variable-induction pickups spaced at a fixed distance, the pickup-inductors are made in the form of an extension of the hollow shaft gear-wheel rims shortened on the primary surface, and magnetic circuits made in the form of ring-shaped chutes, whose lateral walls have teeth and shortened on the primary surface. An excitation coil and signal coil are positioned circumferentially inside the chutes. The output of the pickups is connected to the electromagnetic clutch control unit via an electronic circuit.
