FIELD: machine engineering, namely combination-control shutoff organs of pipeline fitting with rotary plug in gas-oil production industry branches. SUBSTANCE: drive unit of rotary shutoff organ of pipeline fitting includes basic module arranged in flanged housing and realized on base of planetary reduction gear. The last includes eccentric inlet shaft- carrier mounted in bearing assemblies on housing. Double-rim satellite unit with common boss is mounted on said shaft-carrier in bearing assemblies. Stationary inlet central gear wheel with internal teeth is mounted in housing. Movable outlet central gear wheel with internal teeth is mounted in bearing assemblies on housing and it is joined with outlet shaft. Drive unit is also provided with two set of detachable adaptors. Each adaptor is arranged in its own casing with joined flange similar to flange of housing of basic module. First adaptor for electromechanical variant of drive unit includes row type double-flow gearing with idle gear wheels. Shaft of inlet central gear wheel of said gearing is joined with motor. Outlet gear wheel with internal teeth is mounted on eccentric inlet shaft-carrier of basic module. Second adaptor for manual control variant of drive unit includes double-stage transmission. Outlet stage of said transmission is similar to gearing of first adaptor. Inlet stage is cone one and it includes inlet cone gear wheel mounted on shaft of flywheel. Outlet cone gear wheel is mounted on shaft of inlet central gear wheel of outlet stage. Outlet shaft is joined with movable outlet central gear wheel of basic module, it performs non-full revolution in range (90 + 10) degrees and it is provided with rotation angle limiter.
