LOCKING DEVICE FOR GARAGE GATE Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

FIELD: locking devices. SUBSTANCE: it can be used for locking gates and doors of garages, storages and other objects both from outside and inside. Device has locking member, catch with handle installed in body with possibility of longitudinal displacement and interaction with locking member, stop for fixing catch in extreme positions, and lock. Locking member is in the form of box with hole in lower wall and it has loop installed inside box parallel to catch axis with possibility for aligning hole of loop with hole in box wall. Catch is provided with loop located parallel to its axis and installed for possible location inside box. Lock is mounted around loop and has locking bow which can be located in space formed by hole in box wall and holes in loops of catch and box. Body of device is made in the form of guide strips. Stop for fixing catch in extreme positions is made as protective strip installed on catch perpendicularly to its axis behind lock. Protective strip has key hole for access to lock. Garage gate can have wicket with lock installed on its inner side. Catch has key hole made for possible alignment with key hole of wicket lock. EFFECT: high efficiency. 1 cl, 3 dwg
