FIELD: mining and oil production industry. SUBSTANCE: oscillations in drilling equipment are controlled by determining flow of energy through equipment as product of lateral variable and through variable. Oscillations of one variable are measured, and flow energy is regulated by other variable. Used as variable values for determining flow energy are voltage multiplied by current of electric drive, pressure multiplied by velocity of hydraulic fluid or torque multiplied by angular velocity of rotary drive. System has means for measuring oscillations of longitudinal and lateral variables connected with power source control unit through drilling equipment, and means for regulation of torsional vibrations by maintaining flow of energy through drilling equipment at preset level. Additionally, system is provided with means for determining and adjusting torque of drive motor. EFFECT: high efficiency. 7 cl, 6 dwg
