FIELD: impact machines; hammers applicable in breaking, crushing and compaction of different materials in mining, road-building and metallurgical industries. SUBSTANCE: the offered device consists of shaft, lower body of hydraulic drive accumulating energy of springs and impact mass in form of hammer head with wedge. Hydraulic drive alloys its coupling with impact mass in any point of trajectory of its lifting that provides for increase of deformation of springs, reduction of their rigidity to enhance impact mass, and installation of hammer on body but not on wedge during impact. These features increase energy of single impact, efficiency of its transmission, eliminate reactive effect from impact onto base machine. One more feature covers an increased width of catching levers and movable installation of hydraulic drive on two guide rings inside sleeve, and installation of internal spring-loaded shell in body that allow automatic centering of axes of drive and hammer head during impact relative to radial reduction of transverse reactive components from impact against inclined surface, improvement of reliability of catching device of hydraulic drive.
