FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion piston engines. SUBSTANCE: piston engine has round cylindrical housing 1 forming three working spaces with shaft 5, pistons 12 and 13 with connecting rods 14 being placed in each space. Pistons 13 are connected through movable plate 20 with first fixed oblique plate 21. Pistons 12 are connected through connecting rods with movable plate 25 resting on movable second oblique plate 26 connected with housing 2 through thrust bearing 27 and support bearing 28, and with shaft 5 through planetary reduction gear, gear ratio 3. With piston 13 in top dead center, piston 12, arranged in the same space is in bottom dead center. Timing gear has intake and exhaust ports, exhaust port being displaced towards fixed oblique plate 21 and intake port, towards second movable oblique plate 26. Second oblique plate 26 is turned relative to first oblique plate 21 so that plane of symmetry of second oblique plate 26 form acute angle with plane of symmetry of first oblique plate 21 pointed in direction opposite to rotation of plate 26. First oblique plate 21 is connected with housing 1 by worm gearing. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. 3 cl, 15 dwg
