FIELD: test of thermal condition of internal combustion engine. SUBSTANCE: temperature-sensitive resistor is pressed against bottom of case made from conductive material. Case is closed by cover with electric terminals in which contact plate and holder of thermobimetal plate of signalling unit fitted with contact are anchored. Butt of holder contacts spring via insulator. Temperature-sensitive element provides for double test of temperature - present temperature and limiting temperature giving rise to overheating of engine.
