FIELD: electrical engineering; electrical devices for automatic control and temperature regulation.
SUBSTANCE: proposed thermobimetallic relay has case with current leads, fixed and movable contacts, clicking thermobimetallic sensing element in the form of strip disposed in case slot and tightened at ends by adjusting devices. Heating its sensing element makes the latter act on movable contact in the form of clocking beam supported at ends by diametrically opposite current leads by means of pusher secured thereon and interact through its projections with fixed contacts of other current leads in original and pre-clicking conditions. Axes of clicking beam and of sensing element are spaced angle α apart. Each adjusting device is made in the form of regulating member disposed in radial hole of case and resting on insert that holds down sensing element end. Spring may be fitted between insert and adjusting member.
EFFECT: facilitated assembly and adjustment, reduced size of relay.
