FIELD: detection of injuries in main gas and oil pipe-lines in field conditions. SUBSTANCE: degree of abnormal condition of pipe-line is evaluated by parameters of acoustic emission when pipe-line is loaded. loading is performed by lifting of pipe-line with force nonuniformly applied to inspected section. Pipe-line is lifted in one point. One or several converters of signals of acoustic emission are connected to pipe-line. Pipe-line may be lifted to preset height at point of force application or till preset value of lifting force is achieved. Use of invention may detect defects exposed under bending or axial loading of pipe-line. EFFECT: increased authenticity of method. 13 cl
