SUBSTANCE: reactor has split magnetic core, winding placed on core legs, connecting device in the form of shells around part of core and studs joining shells together, nonmagnetic gaps between ends of split core legs; each of joined parts of core is fixed to respective shell; air gaps are used as nonmagnetic gaps; one of shells and part of core attached to it are free to move along core legs.
