FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: socket has shroud accommodating female part with depression to receive plug and provided with holes which have contacts to pass current between electric circuit and plug pins when plug is inserted in mentioned depression of female part, as well as means facilitating plug separation joined with female part. Mentioned means have pushrod resting on female part or on shroud provided with pushrod guide members. Pushrod is joined with pushing plate in the form of double-arm lever whose outer end is joined with pushrod and inner end is placed in central section of female part depression. Pushing plate may be mounted for moving inner end of lever under effect of pushrod in parallel opposing direction of pushrod displacement. EFFECT: improved design. 10 cl, 6 dwg
