FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves executing aerosol spraying of spermicidal preparation on the surface of uterine neck and vaginal cavity from entrance to vaginal vault before starting coitus. The device has aerosol balloon having air-proof vessel filled with mixture of spermicidal preparation with liquefied gas (propellent), valve, siphon tube, and sprayer head having stopper bushing with perforated vaginal stopping dilator which supporting member is coupled with stopping bushing and sprayer head . Aerosol balloon is mounted in the stopping bushing with support relative to internal cavity of the sprayer head. Supporting force is selected to be less than the force leading to opening valve operation force causing spermicidal preparation aerosol jet to be released.
