FIELD: medicine; neurology. SUBSTANCE: novelty of method resides in applying medicinal leeches to so-called "trigger points", i.e. points at which affected branches of trifacial nerve emerge to surface, to biologically active points normally used in classical acupuncture, and onto zones of painful irradiation. Such massive application of leeches makes it possible to cut short painful syndrome in short time, to increase treatment efficiency, to prolong remission periods, to shorten treatment period, and to use it for all categories of sick people, i.e. with exception of hemophilia, there no contraindications to use of proposed method. EFFECT: extremely effective method of treatment.
