FIELD: rubber waste disposal. SUBSTANCE: worked out vulcanizing diaphragms consisting of butyl rubber-based mix are disintegrated using disk cutters, 8-10 times passed through rolls with corrugated surface, treated on grinding rolls with gap between rolls 0.2-0.3 mm to produce homogeneous rubber mass, which is then mixed in rubber mixer with carbon black, sulfur, curing resin, activators, softeners, and regenerator in amount 5-80 weight parts per 100 weight parts of rubber. Grinding rolls are cooled with water at 30-50 C. EFFECT: optimized conditions of process.
