FIELD: railway track construction engineering. SUBSTANCE: according to method, rubber-based plate for railway crossing is made of industrial rubber waste, especially from first sage of rubber mixing. Added to it is 5-25% of rubber-oil waste which is processed into vulcanized rubber mix with subsequent cooling down to 20-30 C. Also used are waste of disintegrated rubber-coated textile cord, waste of rubber-coated steel-wire cord and also disintegrated waste of vulcanized rubber mix preliminarily mixed with rejected tyre protector mix in ratio of, mass part, 25-50:75:50, phenyl-isopropyl-phenylenediamine in amount of 0.5-1.5 mass part per 100 mass part of protector mix rubber and age resistor. Mass ratio of waste from first-stage rubber mixing, combined with textile cord, rubberized steel-wire cord and waste of vulcanized rubber mix is 50-85:5-20:5-20:5-10. After processing, material is cooled to 20-30 C. Waste is combined into monolithic matter layer-by-layer. Vulcanization is effected in steam boiler under pressure. In addition, upper part of plate 10-20 mm thick is produced from waste of vulcanized rubber mix processed into vulcanized rubber mix. EFFECT: high efficiency. 1 cl, 1 dwg, 1 tbl
