FIELD: locking devices. SUBSTANCE: lock has body with keyhole, locking bar with protrusion accommodated in body for longitudinal motion, mechanism of linear motion of locking bar having tie-rod square to locking bar and guide, a set of code members with strip movable for interaction with locking bar, and key made in form of plate with slots. Code members are made in form of plates, and strip has slots for interaction with code protrusions of plates and stop located on plate for interaction with projection. Keyhole is located parallel to locking bar and under it. Tie-rod moving locking bar is located between locking bar and keyhole and parallel to the latter. Strip and mechanism for linear motion of locking bar are mounted on tie-rod. Strip-tie-rod joint forms rotating pair. Code plates have guide and are installed for transverse motion relative to keyhole and tie-rod in interaction with key code part. Tie-rod is axially movable to ensure contact of strip with code plates. Mechanism of locking bar linear motion is made in form of rack gearing whose rack is made on locking bar, and gear wheel is mounted on tie-rod. Code plates are spring-loaded in direction of keyhole and have on the side of strip slots which may form single longitudinal slot parallel to locking bar, and strip has mating projection for slot.
