FIELD: pump engineering. SUBSTANCE: pump has housing, working wheel arranged inside the housing and set in rotation by a cylindric magnetic clutch the driving clutch member of which is connected with the driving shaft of an electric motor, and the driven clutch member is connected with the working wheel. The clutch members are axially alined and separated with a shield made up as a sleeve tightly secured inside the housing. The thickness of the wall of the sleeve varies along its generatrix. The portion where the thickness of the wall is a minimum is interposed between the poles of the driving and driven clutch members. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency and reliability. 9 cl, 3 dwg
