SUBSTANCE: chisel has handle 1 with back edge 2, neck 3 with flat working part 4 provided with end angular cutting edge 5 and longitudinal side projections 8 positioned on faces. Projections 8 are made in the form of rigidity ribs with sections shaped as right triangles oriented in opposite directions. Faces are provided with additional rigidity ribs 7 extending along longitudinal axis and having sections formed as right triangles oriented in opposite directions. Handle 1 has detachable member gripped by operator's wrist and provided with stop. Such construction allows osteoclasis to be quickly and effectively conducted by simultaneously dissecting and spreading bone apart by turning chisel about its axis.
