FIELD: medicine, in particular, traumatology and orthopedics. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has flexible plate 1 and flexible planks 2 connected by threaded bars 4, slide 6 positioned on planks 2. Slide 6 has adjusting screw 7 with measuring scale and guiding pipe 8. Apparatus is further provided with bone retainer analogue, rigid planks 3, where ends of bars 4 are fixed. Bars 4 have unidirectional thread. Plate 1 and planks 2 have countersunk openings positioned at locations, through which bars 4 are extending. Plate 1 and planks 2 are secured on bars 4 by screws 5 with spherical supporting surfaces. Apparatus allows preoperative determination of adequate parameters for introducing flexible retainer into long bone to be conducted.
