FIELD: hand fire arms, especially pistols. SUBSTANCE: the pistol uses a frame, slide with the front wall, barrel with the lower lug with longitudinal grooves for movable joint to the slide, recoil mechanism, magazine and a self-cocking trigger mechanism with a selector; the recoil mechanism is installed between the barrel lower lug and the slide front wall. The barrel, whose length makes up 0.90 to 0.95 of the weapon length, is installed for forward movement relative to the frame and slide at a shot; the relative movement of the barrel and slide makes up 2-3 of the cartridge length. The barrel-slide assembly is connected to the frame through a flexible damper coupling positioned for retaining the barrel-slide assembly in the initial position relative to the frame before a shot and for providing its damped vibrations relative to the frame after a shot.
