SUBSTANCE: invention relates to small arms. The proposed submachine gun features the retarder retainer fitted on the guide to change its position in height for the retarder stroke to be varied and adjusted, hence, to vary rate of fire. The fire selector-safety lock can lock the sear, while the trigger and rocker have a ledge to retard breechblock and a ledge to interact with the sear to turn it and to unlock the breechblock.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of hits, simple design, ease and safety of use.
