FIELD: analytical chemistry, biochemistry, pharmacology. SUBSTANCE: method involves recording optical density values at maximum absorption wavelength of component to be determined (D1): at 260 nm for DNA and at 256 nm for nipagin. Then optical densities were recorded at wavelengths where total components absorption is equal to that of interfering component (D2). Difference of optical density is measured D = D1 - D2 and content of an analyzed component is calculated. EFFECT: improved method of determination. 2 tbl
