FIELD: medicine, diagnostics. SUBSTANCE: blood samples are taken, neutrophils are incubated in two parallel samples in a solution to maintain their viability with inductor-microorganisms of respiratory burst at the ratio of 1:100 and 1:10 at the presence of luminol, chemiluminescence is registered along with light total, maximal intensity and time for the onset of maximal luminescence of every sample at 1:100 ratio of neutrophil/microbe in reaction cuvette to analogous value at 1:10 ratio. Free-radical potential of neutrophils is calculated by a certain formula, at its value of 22-53 normal capacity is established for neutrophils to produce activated oxygen metabolites, at the level of 21-6 capacity is beneath the lower normal boundary and under the value of 6 insufficient capacity is stated on.
