FIELD: electrical engineering; special-purpose rotary generators producing current pulses due to rotary compression of magnetic flux. SUBSTANCE: generator stator is built up of two horseshoe-shaped laminated stacks and rotor, of two Y-shaped stacks joined together by means of diamagnetic material, their symmetry axes coinciding with generator axis and each carrying four radial and two axial poles. Generator stator carries running winding made of six series and cumulatively connected coils. Rotor is mounted on diamagnetic shaft. Two of six coils of running winding are ring coils wound on axial stator poles and remaining four coils wound on radial poles. EFFECT: increased inductance variation factor and, hence, increased specific power output. 2 dwg
