FIELD: boots for protecting user's legs from injury during mine explosion. SUBSTANCE: protective boot has energy-absorbing module enclosed in single plastic casing open at sides and having vacuum containers and containers filled with powder substances, and spring-and-wedge type shock-absorbing module with supporting plastic platform and deflector positioned below platform. Deflector has plastic pipe halves positioned one below another, with central space between halves being at least 5 mm. All members of energy-absorbing and shock-absorbing modules are connected with enclosure, one with another and with stocking positioned on supporting platform to define single construction by means of plastic rivets having restricted resistance of 60-80 kg to pulsed longitudinal and transverse explosive loads.
