VEHICLE CAB HEATING DEVICE Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

FIELD: transport engineering; heating of small-size tractor cabs. SUBSTANCE: cab 1 has radiators 2, 3 made in form of flat panels of bottom and front wall of cab 1. Oil of working equipment hydraulic system is used as heat carrier. Hydraulic system has pump 7, throttle 9, distributor 10, three-position valve-distributor 11, radiators 2, 3 and tank 12. Valve-distributor 11 is connected by its inlet with drain line 13 of distributor 10 and by two outlets, with radiators 2, 3 and tank 12. Throttle 9 provides heating of cab and windshield. valve-distributor 11 is set in preset temperature control position. Cooling of working liquid of hydraulic system with radiators blown out by on coming air stream is provided at fully opened throttle 9 and drain from valve-distributor 10 into tank 12.
