FIELD: agricultural engineering. SUBSTANCE: mower has basic machine, single-bar mower attachment mechanism and mower bar driving mechanism. Attachment mechanism has frame column and movable handle, which are interconnected through pivot joint having shaft and lever 9 fixed on shaft and adapted to control position of handle free end. lever is driven by hydraulic cylinder. Mower bar driving mechanism has self-braking reducing worm gear and open cylindrical tooth transmission whose drive gear is coupled with output shaft of reducing worm gear and driven shaft-gear is mounted on bracket of cutterbar drive. Axis of driven shaft-gear is axis of pivotal rotation of mower bar relative to handle. EFFECT: simplified construction and wider operational capabilities of mower. 2 cl, 2 dwg
