FIELD: transport engineering; crawler vehicles. SUBSTANCE: road wheel has roller 1 installed on fixed axle 3 with longitudinal flats 4 of bearing unit 2. Reservoir 5 for lubricating liquid and end face seals 6 are made in upper part of axle. Reservoir 5 is made in form of cavity 7 U-shaped in cross section. Bottom 8 is arranged lower than horizontal plane passing through road wheel axle. Reservoir is placed in communication with lower part 9 of bearing unit 2 by radial inclined channels 10 branching in pairs. Outward outputs of channels 10 are located on longitudinal flats 4, and outputs into reservoir 5 are arranged higher than bottom of cavity 7. Such design of road wheel increases volume of reservoir 5 for lubricating liquid and provides settling of wear products on bottom of reservoir. EFFECT: increased volume of lubricating liquid reservoir, improved removal of wear products from friction zone. 2 dwg
