SUBSTANCE: rotation of the electrode feed motor is transmitted to a tacho generator, which generates a voltage, a rheostat adjusts the preset voltage. The difference between the generator voltage and the preset voltage is applied to a set-point device, and then - to a gain system. The amplified signal is applied to a thyristor converter producing direct current across its output terminals. Voltage from the converter terminals is applied to the armature of the consumable electrode feed motor. Variation of the electrode rotational speed causes variation of its melting rate.
