FIELD: textile industry, ring spinning frames and twisters. SUBSTANCE: pair has external and internal rings installed coaxially and with annular gap between them and having annular projections or annular grooves on opposite surface and located in one plane. Traveller is installed in annular gap between rings. Traveller is a body of revolution with annular groove on rim or with rim in form of annular projection and has through axial hole for thread passing. Width of profile of annular groove of, at least, one of rings, or traveller in zone of its bottom is, at least, equal to width of profile of annular groove in its throat. Thickness of profile located in groove of annular projection of traveller, or, at least, one of rings in zone of free end of projection is, at least, equal to thickness of profile of projection in zone of its base. Maximum value of groove width is equal to maximum value of thickness of respective projection. Due to such working surfaces of rings and traveller in working conditions, tensioning of thread in balloon cannot turn the traveller across direction of its movement that provider for its maximum speed and minimal wear and also minimum tension force of thread and minimum level of its breakage.
